Nagori

Contained vitality

branding packaging

Nagori is a rice milk inspired by Japanese amazake, made through natural fermentation to keep the living essence of the grain.
The project starts from that slow, almost invisible transformation:
rice quietly turning into something white, alive and luminous.

The concept, contained vitality, looks at energy that stays beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to show itself. Drawing
on Byung-Chul Han, the brand also proposes slow presence:
a different idea of happiness in an age of speed and performance,
one that comes from existing without hurry and letting time do its work. Nagori isn’t about productivity or forced wellbeing, but about contemplation, with time treated as an active ingredient.

The brand personality combines two archetypes. The Innocent brings calm, purity and gratitude, while the Explorer adds a gentle curiosity for origin, material and process. Together they create a serenely restless brand that explores stillness as if it were new terrain.
Built around five keywords (fermentation, silence, time,
form and presence), each bottle is designed as a piece of liquid design: simple in appearance, complex in meaning.
